Other musicians attending the conference this year include Herbie Hancock.

On Sunday she flies to San Francisco and on to Berkeley where she will begin preproduction on her next studio album with her producer, Darol Anger. This album is scheduled for release some time in 2003 at this point.

In March, she starts touring again in the US and In May, she will travel to Nashville to record.

Her upcoming double-CD "Natalie MacMaster Live", which will include one disc recorded live at a square dance in Glencoe Mills with Joel Chaisson and Dave MacIsaac and the second disc recorded live at a concert in Mississauga, Ontario at the Living Arts Centre.
