Mary MacMasters' Carrot Cake Andrew Anderson - Halifax, NS
2 cups flour Sift dry ingredients into large bowl. Add oil and stir well, making a very stiff mixture. Add eggs , one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Add carrots and blend well. Pour batter into greased 9 x 13 pan or layer cake pans and spread evenly. Bake 350 degrees oven for 40 to 50 minutes. When cool frost cake with cream cheese frosting. Cream Cheese Frosting 1/4 cup butter |
